Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was from Minsk (the capital of Belarus) she is the child of Sergey. Sergey Her father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5th, 1998, from Minsk Belarus. She has been able to be the winner of 12 WTA singles championships. This includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. In her role as a specialist in doubles She also took home both the US Open of 2019 as and her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, taking in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. The feat was achieved by four couples in the women's doubles. The Belarusian rose from second place to third in world singles rankings on the 23rd of August in 2021. Her highest rank was again achieved in January 2023. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021 and gaining the doubles title, she managed to move up the rankings to take the first spot for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach throughout 2018, up until the season ended in the year 2019. He also coached her briefly before the year 2020 began. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has been coaching her for the past few years, starting in 2020. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
